Bishop Sutton Tennis Club Protection by Mul-T-Lock

Thornhill Security recently upgraded the security at Bishop Sutton Tennis Club from a mechanical locking solution to a Mul-T-Lock Access Control System, quickly and cost effectively with the use of Mul-T-Lock’s innovative Smartair all-in-one security solution.

The Brief

The tennis club required a cost effective access control solution, which could solve key management issues and still allow all members individual fob access. A new, modern clubhouse was to replace the 60 year old wooden ex-school room and whilst entry to courts and clubhouse had previously been by padlocks, with every member having a key, simple access to the new clubhouse was to be by individual fobs.

The Solution

We recommended Smartair from Mul-T-Lock, an all in one access control system that removes the need for expensive data cabling and re-wiring and simply operates from a unique management card, so user fobs can be easily added or removed as required.

Smartair Update On Card is one of four systems available in the range, designed to offer upgraded security from basic requirements such as a single door system right up to many doors linked back to a PC.

The Result

Says Chris Rylance of Bishop Sutton Tennis Club: “The installation of Smartair was quick and trouble free and is proving to work well. We have distributed nearly 500 fobs to our members and feedback suggests the fob offers a greater convenience”.

Mul-T-Lock’s MD Steve Ross concluded: “The features of the Smartair range make it a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of any premises from mechanical to access control, and in the process solving key management issues and enabling a more convenient solution, without compromising on security.”

Phill Hill at Thornhill Security added: “Smartair’s real advantage over its competition is how easy it is to install. The Update on Card or Fob option offers extensive features normally associated with a sophisticated access control system, offering the Committee at Bishop Sutton Tennis Club a complete future proofed solution to manage who has access to the club at anytime.”
